Carrier Clinic, a mental and behavioral health treatment center since 1910, is one of the largest private, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare facilities in New Jersey. Hampton Behavioral Healthcare Center (Westampton, NJ)

Although based in Burlington County (Westampton, NJ), Hampton Behavioral Health Center is contracted by the NJ Division of Mental Health Services to provide Short Term Care Facility beds to Mercer County citizens when needed. It offers both inpatient and outpatient treatment for adolescents, adults, dually diagnosed adults (mental health and addiction issues) and older adults. Princeton House Behavioral Health (Princeton, NJ)

Princeton House Behavioral Health, a unit of Princeton HealthCare System, offers a multidisciplinary team of board certified psychiatrists and highly qualified professionals who provide a high level of treatment and care for people who need psychiatric support, have chemical dependencies or who struggle with a combination of emotional and addiction problems. Its inpatient facility sits on 10 quiet wooded acres just two miles from the heart of Princeton. In addition to its main campus in Princeton, it also has outpatient sites in Princeton, North Brunswick, Hamilton and Cherry Hill. Its outpatient sites primarily offer partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment for those requiring acute care. Most insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid. Founded in 1848 by legendary social reformer Dorothea Dix, Trenton Psychiatric Hospital is one of New Jersey’s four state-run psychiatric hospitals. A 500 bed facility, Trenton Psychiatric Hospital receives and cares for patients from Mercer County and other counties in central New Jersey.
