Devastastion, Frustration, Admiration: Fathers of children with schizophrenia

We recently discovered this exellent report of a clinical study about the experience of fathers of adult children with schizophrenia. So much of what it reports is exactly what many fathers experience. Read this and know the maelstrom especially affects fathers, who find themselves devastated by a deep sense of loss, frustrated by systems and circumstances they cannot fix, admiring of the epic qualites they come to see in their challenged children, and reflecting on their ultimate roles as fathers. Access the article here.
