New Tab Added: “Imagine…” (…How To Navigate The Maelstrom Better)

The Cave of the Storm Nymphs (1903), by Sir Edward John Poynter (British)

When embroiled in the maelstrom of mental illness, the needs of those with psychiatric disabilities and their families can be enormous. This is often because The System of services and supports, while well intended and led by so many dedicated workers, is disjointed and deficient in so many ways. Both before and after the onset, PsychOdyssey’s own lived experience sometimes sparks imaginings of initiatives that could bridge some of the gaps.

PsychOdyssey invites all its readers to read and comment on such possible initiatives that could help loved ones and their families navigate the maelstrom better. Visit PsychOdyssey’s new “Imagine…” tab here.
